3.7 Accessing ViewSonic Device Manager Remotely with a Web

Browser

You can access ViewSonic Device Manager installed on a remote computer with a Web browser. ViewSonic Device

Manager supports Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. With a Web browser-capable computer,

you can access ViewSonic Device Manager anywhere to manage all your clients.

NOTE

• The computer you use to access ViewSonic Device Manager through a Web

browser must be in the same network segment as the remote computer where the

ViewSonic Device Manager is installed.

To access ViewSonic Device Manager through a Web browser, please follow the steps below:

1. Open your Web browser.

2. In the Address bar of the browser, enter the IP address and the number of the communication port for the

remote computer where ViewSonic Device Manager is installed, and then press Enter. Please type in the IP

address in the following format:

https://Your IP address:10443

3. The browser is launched with a page displaying a message about the security certicate of the

remote computer.

Message about Security Certicate: Google Chrome
